Conservation of a Pristine Archipelago

Preserving a Unique Marine Environment

St. Brandon is one of Mauritius’ most remote and pristine regions, home to rich marine biodiversity and some of the healthiest fish stocks in the Indian Ocean. However, this fragile ecosystem faces increasing threats from pollution, stranded boats, and illegal fishing.

A Marine Haven at Risk

The Odysseo Foundation, in collaboration with the St. Brandon Conservation Trust, is working to preserve and protect the archipelago through science-driven conservation, on-the-ground restoration, and collaborative research.

A Comprehensive Conservation Approach

By combining habitat restoration, biodiversity monitoring, and strong partnerships, we are committed to ensuring that St. Brandon remains a sanctuary for marine life and a model for sustainable conservation.
